Collaboration Process
1. Customer Initiates Customization Request
Customers submit their customization requirements to the contact person, including:
- Description of requirements
- Expected outcomes
- Budget range
- Delivery timeline
2. Provision of Technical Documentation
Customers must also provide relevant technical documentation to IO Intelligent, including but not limited to:
- Robot configuration URDF
- Robot gripper/hand URDF
- Robot controller and control interfaces
- Chassis and other control unit interfaces
- Sensor configurations and data interfaces
- Robot main control hardware and software, system version information
3. Requirement Confirmation and Evaluation
The project manager reviews the requirements to confirm whether they meet the customization criteria, such as:
- Robot Configuration Adaptation - Full-body joint degrees of freedom settings, control command mapping, control algorithm optimization
- Robot Gripper/Hand Adaptation - Gripper/hand control command mapping, control algorithm optimization
- Chassis Movement, Lifting, and Other Additional Function Controls - Control interface development
- Platform Management Service Customization - Custom data and process development
4. Signing Collaboration Agreement
The project manager and the customer sign a formal customization collaboration agreement, confirming the specific work content for each stage of design, production, and delivery.
5. Design, Production, and Delivery
Conduct complete design and customized development based on customer requirements, and finally deliver to the customer.
Case Studies
Shanghai Guodi Co-built Humanoid Robot Innovation Center (Qinglong)
"Qinglong" is the world's first full-size open-source humanoid robot, standing at 182cm tall and weighing 75kg. It is equipped with a full-body force control system and dexterous hands, supporting multimodal interactions. It adopts a modular biomimetic design with high dynamics and high load capacity. "Qinglong" is equipped with advanced perception and control systems, achieving precise control through multi-main station high-speed real-time communication, providing rich resources and an open-source platform to promote the development of humanoid robotics industry.
Leveraging Qinglong's mature real-time joint space control interface, the IO Intelligent team collaborated with the Qinglong robot to complete the adaptation of communication protocols and control interfaces within one day. By fine-tuning controller parameters, ideal end-effector and joint tracking effects were achieved, as well as control and image information feedback for the robot's head. This allows operators to perform tasks immersively from the robot's perspective, enabling "seeing" and "executing" the robot's actions. We believe that the data collected in this manner will be more beneficial for training embodied intelligence models.
The scarcity of high-quality, scalable data is the main bottleneck in the development of humanoid robots. Through the successful adaptation of Qinglong with IO TeleXperience, multimodal data was collected and imported into the IO Data Service Platform. On the platform, data can be previewed, trimmed, and annotated, and the robot's movements and sensor images can be monitored, forming a complete closed-loop of embodied data, further promoting the intelligent development of robots.

Currently, the TeleXperience modules adapted for remote operation with RealMan include: arms, grippers, dexterous hands, lifting, and chassis movement.
By adapting the "RealMan Embodied Dual-Arm Lifting Platform" with IO TeleXperience, multimodal data was collected and imported into the IO Data Service Platform. Through the platform, users can preview, trim, and annotate data, monitor the robot's movements and sensor images, forming a complete closed-loop of embodied data, further promoting the intelligent development of robots.
At the same time, IO Intelligent and RealMan have jointly launched a full-featured lightweight remote operation platform. The RealMan embodied dual-lift platform combined with the IO TeleXperience suite can quickly achieve robot dual-arm control, robot lifting, robot chassis movement, dexterous hand manipulation, and other operations, facilitating rapid collection of the robot's multi-scenario operation data, providing strong support for your robot model training, deployment, and application.
