The company was founded in May 2023, with its founding team members graduating from the University of Tokyo, Peking University, and Columbia University. They have previously worked at renowned companies such as Tencent Robotics X Lab and Penghang Intelligent Robotics, bringing extensive experience in robotics hardware and software development as well as AI model research. AIO is dedicated to driving innovation and development in the field of embodied intelligence by collecting and open-sourcing the first batch of large-scale human data, aiming to provide strong support for the rapid advancement of the industry.

Chen Xiangyu
Founder
Chen Xiangyu is a robotics expert and a Ph.D. graduate from the University of Tokyo. Chen has published dozens of papers in leading robotic journals and top international conferences. Chen has represented the University of Tokyo in renowned international robotics competitions such as DRC and MBZIRC.
Xu Liangwei
Co-Founder
Xu Liangwei is an expert in autonomous driving and robot software. He graduates from the Department of Intelligent Science at Peking University. Xu specializes in the research and development of robotic systems and robot middleware. He has been involved in multiple unmanned systems projects.
