Senior Backend Engineer

Role overview

  1. Design and develop core backend systems for robotics.
  2. Scope includes device onboarding, real-time communication, job scheduling, data management, and access control.

Responsibilities

  1. Design and implement backend services (Node.js, Go, or Python).
  2. Design database schemas and optimize caching (e.g., PostgreSQL / Redis).
  3. Contribute to system architecture and implement asynchronous tasks and event handling with message queues.
  4. Own deployment and operations (primarily Linux and Docker).

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree or above; computer science or related fields preferred.
  2. 3+ years of backend development experience.
  3. Strong command of at least one programming language with end-to-end project experience.
  4. Comfortable with common Linux server commands and basic operations work.
  5. Foundational system design skills with sound module and API decomposition.

  5. Experience with device connectivity or IoT.

Hardware Engineer

Job Responsibilities

  1. Own hardware architecture and rapid prototyping for integrated data-capture devices (trade studies, interface definition, bring-up), balancing performance, power, cost, and reliability.
  2. Lead selection and design of core blocks—SoCs, sensors (cameras/IMU, etc.), power and charging, connectivity (Wi‑Fi/BT/4G/5G, etc.)—through integration, validation, and issue closure.
  3. Drive hardware iterations from PoC through prototype, EVT/DVT, pilot, and mass production; own BOMs, specifications, test plans/reports, and revision history.

Job Requirements

  1. Master’s degree or above in EE, communications, automation, mechanical engineering, computer science, or related fields.
  2. 3–5 years of hardware R&D with shipping experience in robotics, smart hardware, or wearables (e.g., camera helmets).
  3. System-level hardware architecture skills with independent trade-off analysis and component selection (performance, power, cost, manufacturability).
  4. Familiar with hardware iteration and NPI/MP flows; capable of pilot bring-up, root-cause analysis, and cross-functional closure.
  5. Organizational and program skills to align ME, EE, sensing, test, and supply chain and lead integrated hardware development for data-capture devices.
